For bop Aero Founder & President Raymond Chase, excellence in aviation has been a lifelong pursuit. Drawing from his extensive experience in aviation, including aircraft ownership, airline flight operations, training development, and pilot evaluations, he founded bop Aero to create a unique ownership program for businesses and individuals in Cirrus Aircraft. Raymond began flying at age 17 and has accumulated over 20,000 flight hours. He has held pilot and instructor roles with major airlines including Comair, AirTran, and currently serves as a B737 Captain with Southwest Airlines.
In the tech world, Raymond is the developer of AltitudeAlert and TakeoffAlert, aviation-focused iOS applications used by pilots across the globe. AltitudeAlert ranks among the top 10% of sales on the Apple App Store.
He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition from the California Polytechnic University at Pomona, publishing numerous works, including collaborations with the professional chamber ensemble MirrorImage on the album MirrorImage at the Opera (released under the MSR Label), which was submitted for Grammy consideration in 2009.
